Fonepay has rolled out the Fonepay Student Ambassador Program 2025 Season 2, a nationwide platform designed to empower university students to lead in digital literacy, fintech innovation, and community impact.
Built on the belief that today’s youth are tomorrow’s digital leaders, the program aims to equip students with modern skills and leadership opportunities to drive a more digitally inclusive Nepal. With the “Time to Teach Back” initiative, the ambassadors share their digital finance knowledge with older generations, helping bridge generational gaps in digital spaces.
This year, the program saw an incredible response with over 170 teams applying from across Nepal. After a competitive selection process, 75 teams (150 students in total) have been shortlisted to represent their colleges and provinces in this unique journey toward leadership and digital transformation.
Spanning eight weeks, the program challenges students to explore digital finance, create engaging content, and build leadership and communication skills. Acting as official Fonepay Ambassadors, they will design and implement awareness campaigns in their colleges and communities, gaining real-world experience and creating lasting social impact.
